Today I show you how to reverse engineer a 7 segment display to derive the pin configuration.
There are times you may get hold of a LED display and wish to use it, I have salvaged many from microwaves, CD players, satellite receivers in the past.
These displays are easy to get and look quite good when you drive them. You can run them with most microcontrollers with a few resistors and transistors. I have used these on many of my projects in the past.
